We need to rebrand ageing

Later Greater Lifeing: The Diamond Decade — a talk from Sarah Taylor Phillips.

The central idea

Longer lives mean more working years, not just more retirement years. The old model, education, then a job, then a career ladder, then retirement, was built for a shorter life. It does not fit the one most of us are now living.

Ageing is not a decline to manage. It is a privilege denied to previous generations, and a stretch of working life organisations and individuals are only just learning how to use.
